Reading WL3
I love Reading WL3, we always have a new goal every 2 weeks. This week our goal was: Skim read to locate specific information & retell.
We got to read a digital text from Kiwi kids News. It was about the Olympics and how some of our Kiwi athletes were going in which sport. We skim read through the text because on the Success Criteria it said not to read the whole text. We had to write in our books about who were the people in the text, what were the sports, when it happened, and where it was. ( I will show you a picture at the end)
After we skim read through the text the group talked about some of the who, what, when, and where. One of the who's were Lisa Carrington. One of the what's were Athletics. The When was Day 13. Last but not least the where was Tokyo Olympics 2020.That was our fun Reading WL3.
So now my picture that I talked about in the first paragraph:
Hi Aria, I like your blog post because it tells me what your goal is.This blog reminds me of my skim read goal in my book did you know I did Lisa Carrington to? It was very good and detailed And I enjoyed reading it.
